It's officially been two weeks since Tranzfuser 2024 started, so here's what we've been up to lately...
The Social Media Round-Up:
First and foremost, we've gotten the ball rolling on our social media, aiming post to almost every day to our TikTok and Instagram pages, and promoting our work on Twitter/X whenever possible. Here's a peak at some of the concept art we've posted there...
We also revealed some gameplay footage too! Here's a look at some work-in-progress gameplay from our bossfight against Cashmere, one of Kaila's cousins.
Every week we aim to post an asset showcase too. So far, we've made some character turntables showing off the 3D models for Kaila and one of our enemy designs, the Muzzler. Take a look at Kaila's turntable below:

The GameDev Side of Things:
ScrapShift itself has been getting a fresh coat of paint in all areas - most notably our game mechanics, animations, and environment design. As a team, we're working super hard to bring a tightly polished demo experience to our players focusing on the games introduction and tutorial, first level, and first boss fight.
A lot of the programming focus has been on making combat feel juicy, introducing elements like screen-shake, hit-stop etc. Check out our before and after:
And here's some concept work and photobashes from our lead artist, focusing on reworking our game's environments to look nicer.
