#01: It's official! So what now?

It's official! We made it onto Tranzfuser for 2024, and you can see our official team page on the Tranzfuser website right now! So what now?

Well, first of all, we're starting our social media roll-out to help get some momentum going for ScrapShift. Our Twitter/X has been live since March, (@CuppaCoffeeG) but currently we are working on posting to TikTok (@cuppacoffeegames.) and Instagram (@cucoffeegames). On these socials we will be posting promotional content, news, and maybe some memes 😏 so give us a follow and join us on our journey. We've also setup our super professional LinkedIn Company Page, so all of you industry people can keep up with us too. Don't worry though, we'll still be posting here regularly, and we'll be aiming for biweekly updates.

Lastly, we have started a Discord Server! This will be our central hub for direct communication with anyone interested in ScrapShift, posting behind-the-scenes content and announcements, as well as just having some fun!

What about ScrapShift itself then? Well, since April we've had a functional demo working (which we submitted for our uni team module and got a first 😉) but the next few weeks will be dedicated towards flattening out any known bugs, creating game-ready assets to swap out any placeholders, and starting a play-testing program for fine-tuning any final touches. Did I mention that members of our Discord Server get first access to the play-testing wait list?

We're also officially welcoming our Lead Narrative Designer, Maddy, to our team! While not a part of our team module, she's a close friend of ours who has been overseeing ScrapShift's development since the start, and we couldn't think of a better choice for our Narrative Designer. To find out more about our team, you can view the team page here.

See you all in the next post!
