“On one hand, these things make it easy to just push your problems away… on the other hand, you can just bring all your problems to you and beat the scrap out of them. Choice is yours. What would I prefer? Well, either’s good for putting them six feet under…”

ScrapShift is a third-person hack-and-slash game for PC and Console, focused on smooth and stylish combat. As Kaila, players utilise the magnets of two weaponised gauntlets to navigate a vibrant scrapyard city inspired by the fusion of the Australian Outback and the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. By beating up enemies, players can attract scrap onto their gauntlets to form a variety of weapons that will help Kaila rise to the top and defeat the gang that took her grandmother from her. Aesthetically, the game takes inspiration from Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and the Borderlands series and combines it with an in-depth combat system inspired by Hack-and-Slash titles such as Bayonetta and the Devil May Cry series.
